How to make a Pledge

Together We Can Achieve 2.2 Million Pledges for Youth Mental Health

Caring about youth mental health is caring about Canada’s Future. With approximately 20% of Canada’s 2.2 million youth ages 13 – 19 reaching out for support in a given year, access and provision of mental health services needs to be improved.

  • Don’t want to participate in our Burst Your Bubble Challenge? That’s ok! Simply register to make a pledge here.
  • Enter your school or youth organization name.
  • For every $1 pledged, your school/organization will receive a ballot entry for a chance to become a Champion Advocate for Youth Mental Health.
  • Showcase your support as an individual or with members of your group and share your activity and messages on social media using #ZachMakesTracks #BurstYourBubbleForYMT and tagging @ZachMakesTracks.

Based on pledges received from each province and territory, 13 Champion Advocates will be selected and will have the honour to pick a local community mental health organization to be a beneficiary of donations raised.

On May 7th, 2019 – National Child and Youth Mental Health Day each Champion Advocate will be awarded an on-site event to celebrate youth mental health that will include a celebrity guest visit or video message, media coverage and announcement of the selected local charity.

No pledge is too small.

Proceeds raised will provide direct support for improving access and provision of youth mental health services offered by the Slaight Family Centre for Youth in Transition at CAMH in Toronto, Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie (Zach’s home), as well as 13 local community mental health organizations across Canada, as selected by the campaign’s Champion Advocate groups.
